Military Honors

At Fred Quandt VFW Post 3901, it is our solemn duty and heartfelt privilege to provide Military Honors for our fallen brothers and sisters in arms. These ceremonies are more than tradition—they are a tribute to the service, sacrifice, and patriotism of those who wore the uniform with pride.

What We Do

We offer Military Honors services at funerals, memorials, and other commemorative events to honor veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Our services typically include:

  • Presentation of the American flag to the next of kin
  • Firing of the ceremonial rifle volley (Three Volley Salute)
  • Playing of Taps, either live or recorded
  • Color Guard presentation, if requested
  • Optional reading of branch-specific prayers or tributes

Each ceremony is conducted with the utmost dignity, discipline, and respect.

Who Qualifies

Military Honors are available for any deceased veteran who received an honorable or general discharge. Family members or funeral homes can request this service through us directly, or in conjunction with official military channels.
