Welcome to the Post.

VFW Post 3901, proudly known as The Fred Quandt Post, has been a pillar of the Algonac, Michigan community since its founding in 1944. Established by veterans of World War I and World War II, our Post was created to be a sanctuary for those who served—offering a place of relaxation, camaraderie, and access to veteran support and benefits.

We are named in honor of Fred Quandt, a soldier from Algonac who served in the Vietnam War and made the ultimate sacrifice. His legacy is woven into the fabric of our Post, and we are proud to carry his name as a symbol of dedication, courage, and service.

Honoring Service. Continuing the Mission.

Welcome to VFW Post 3901. As part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, we are a congressionally chartered organization dedicated to supporting those who have served our nation in overseas combat.

Our Post is more than just a meeting hall—it is a place of camaraderie, mutual support, and purpose. Here, veterans from all branches of the military gather to share stories, advocate for fellow service members, and continue giving back through community involvement and charitable initiatives.
